Sarah Kucker

Sarah Kucker earned her Ph.D. in Psychology (Developmental Science) from the University of Iowa where she worked with Larissa Samuelson and Bob McMurray. She is currently a Callier Postdoctoral Fellow. Her research generally examines associative learning processes, particularly word learning and category development from a dynamic systems perspective. She is also interested in how and where language learning trajectories break down in children with language disorders or delays.

Lindsey Ethington

Lindsey earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas Christian University in 2012. As a last-semester graduate student at UTD, she is fascinated by language acquisition and is eager to become a pediatric SLP. Along with her partner, Jenny King, Lindsey is also looking forward to presenting her research poster, The Development of Complex Sentences in Three-Year-Old Children, at the 2015 ASHA Convention in Denver, Colorado.

Jenny King

Jenny earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Texas State University in 2014. She is currently a graduate student in the Communication Disorders program at the University of Texas at Dallas where one of her interests includes neurogenic disorders in adults.

Denay Roche

Denay earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Business and Economics from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA in 2014. She is currently a graduate student in the Communication Disorders program at the University of Texas at Dallas. Her interests are in pediatric communication disorders and she is excited about pursuing her goal of helping others improve their quality of life.

Justin Lo

Justin Lo received his Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics at Yale University. Currently, he is a graduate student studying in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department at the University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to entering the program, Justin taught SAT Reading and Writing classes and TOEFL review classes in South Korea and ESL in China. Broadly, he is interested in the impact of pediatric traumatic brain injury on the production of speech.
